Zvonareva in round two of Tashkent Open Qualifiers

Tashkent , September 23:  Former world no 2 Vera Zvonareva (RUS) coming from a two year layoff  started her campaign with  a win as sixth seeded Ukrainian  Anhelina Kalinina conceded at scores reading  6/4,1/0 to move into the   final round qualifying at the 19th edition of Tashkent Open WTA Championships being played at the Olympic  tennis School in Tashkent

In a close match fifth seeded Lizette Cabrera of Australia stopped a fighting Valentini Grammatikopoulou of Greece  6/3 2/6 6/3 to move into the final round qualifiers along with Top seeded Jana Fett of Croatia, second seed Ana Bogdan of Romania , third seeded  Jasmine Paolini of Italy , fourth seeded Irina Khromacheva  of  Russia , seventh seeded Ipek Soylu of turkey  and eighth  seeded    Anna Kalinskaya  Russia  .
